Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) SAR images in oceanic sense include velocity bunching due to orbital motions of ocean waves. It is well known that velocity bunching causes nonlinear imaging modulations in SAR images. In order to generate ocean SAR images with velocity bunching and to support developing analytical algorithms, we have developed a simulator which can generate time series of SAR raw signals numerically. As a foundation of a SAR image simulator, time series of SAR raw signals from point targets are simulated. Then, SAR images with fine resolutions are obtained by applying compression techniques to the simulated SAR raw signals. As the results of moving target case, we have confirmed azimuth shifts in SAR images.
