Abstract(in English) Discussion using e-mail is frequently conducted in intelligent works such as research activity. Although there have been some methods for extracting discussion processes, these existing methods have not effective enough since almost these methods assumes specific description style. This research has aimed to developed support methods for skillfully grasping discussion processes considering diversity of description style. This paper mainly describes algorithms for extracting the discussion processes which is capable of dealing with diversity of description styles such as way of utterance, discussion type, time interval and coexistence of plural discussion topics.
