Abstract(in English) Now, in the Broadband Network, there are variable Services on the Internet. There is possibility that the quality of services gets worse because of increasing users who use the services on the Internet, that places heavy load on the Network and Servers. To solve the problem, we take notice of the QoS(Quality of Service). It is necessary to build the high performance Network. But it is difficult to analyze the jitter because there is no approximate formula for the Variance of Waiting Time in Queuing Systems of the Network. In this paper, we consider the approximate formula for the Variance of Waiting Time in a FIFO(First-In-First-Out) GI/GI/1 queuing system.
