Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper introduces a novel phase compensation scheme for Direct Spectrum Division Transmission (DSDT). DSDT divides a single-carrier modulated signal into multiple sub-spectra at the transmitter (Tx) side. At the receiver (Rx) side, the transmitted signal exhibits phase distortion since Tx and Rx side conduct fast Fourier transformation asynchronously. To prevent phase discontinuity after spectrum combination, we propose a novel phase compensator that estimates the phase difference from the transition bands of adjacent sub-spectra and compensates phase distortion of the sub-spectra. An experiment shows that the proposed scheme renders the degradation in required C/N negligible. The results confirm that the proposed scheme realizes highly accurate phase compensation.
