| 抄録(和) | 画像の局所ヒストグラムは画像処理の様々な応用において有益な情報を与えるが,その画像全体にわたる近傍計算のためのコストは膨大となるため,その利用が困難であった.近年,Kassらによって,局所ヒストグラムを近似的に計算するための効率のよいアルゴリズムとして,平滑化局所ヒストグラムが提案された.本報告では,平滑化局所ヒストグラムを用いて,画像コントラスト強調の代表的な手法であるヒストグラム均等化を局所的に適用する方法について検討した. |
| 抄録(英) | Local image histograms contain a great deal of information useful for applications in computer graphics, computer vision and computational photography. Making use of that information has been challenging because of the expense of computing histogram properties over large neighborhoods. Recently, the smoothed local histogram as an effective algorithm to calculate local histograms has been proposed by M. Kass et al.. In this report, we investigated a method to enhance image contrast with the smoothed local histogram. |
