Image Enhancement by Using Edge-preserving Smoothing based on SFC-MST

Abstract(in English) We propose a novel decomposition-based image enhancement method with one-dimensional edge-preserving smoothing filter employing SFC-MST scanning. In the decomposition-based image enhancement, an input image is decomposed into coarse feature and fine one by using edge-preserving smoothing method. In this paper, we verify the characteristic and effectiveness of the proposed method in image enhancement.
