Rotation Angle Estimation of Characters in Three Dimensional Space

Abstract(in English) We have proposed a method to simply and effectively recognize camera-captured characters and confirmed high recognition rate can be obtained. Also, we have applied our method to scene analysis which detect character written plane from character information by estimating rotation angle of characters. In this research, we evaluate how precisely our proposed method can estimate rotation angle by comparing observation result from 3D digitizer. Moreover, we propose more effective method to estimate rotation angle.
