Abstract(in English) Optical frequency comb generation and its optical beat detection enables us to synthesize multi-octave microwave and millimieter-wave signals. The characteristics of filters place between the optical frequency comb generator and the detection circuit affect the SSB phase noise drastically. We report both theory and experimental results for these effects.
