| 抄録(和) | 高等教育機関における情報環境整備は,集約化による費用対効果の改善を目指して,学内に散在してきた計算機資源の集中化がはじまっている.この流れは,現在のクラウドコンピューティングの流れと同期する中で,IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service)レベルでの学内プライベートクラウドの構築やパブリッククラウドの利用が模索されている.今後,より上位レイヤーのPaaS (Platform-as-a-Service)やSaaS (Software-as-a-Service)へとその流れが拡大する中で,コース管理システムやeポートフォリオシステム等の教育学習活動を支える情報環境もサービス単位での融合が進むと考えられる.しかし,その過程においてはオープンソースや標準規格に基づいた実装を通じて共通化・標準化を図りつつ,如何に多様な教育学習現場を支えるものにできるかが極めて重要なポイントとなる.そこで,本報告では,教育学習支援システム間のサービス連携に関するオープンソース化と標準規格化の動向について述べることにより,高等教育機関におけるプライベートクラウドや大学間連携によるコミュニティクラウドとして形成されるアカデミッククラウドにおけるプラクティカルなサービス連携について考える. |
| 抄録(英) | Higher educational institutions have been pursuing effective uses of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for teaching and learning, and the current key concept during this Cloud Computing era is "consolidation" to reduce distributed and scattered costs on campus in terms of ICT operation and management. Although the level of consolidation is now in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (laaS), there is no doubt that the trend is going to be expanded to the level in Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) soon or later, resulting in tightly and loosely integrated service environment among information systems for teaching and learning. During such a case, open sources and open specifications will become very important to accommodate academic diversity for teaching and learning based on each discipline and each campus culture. In this paper, we will summarize the current status of open sources and open standards in terms of practical service integrations on Academic Cloud for teaching and learning in higher educational institutions. |
