| 抄録(和) | ソフトウェア開発の全体または一部を海外の企業に委託するオフショアソフトウェア開発が盛んである.オフショア開発では,言語や文化の違いから,コミュニケーションにおける様々な問題が発生する.本稿では特に,(a)オフショア側の言語能力不足による文書理解の問題と,(b)オンショア側の相手側の理解状況把握の問題,という2つの問題に着目する.これらを改善すべく,言語グリッドWebサービスと文書理解度フィードバック機能を取り入れた,コミュニケーション支援システムのプロトタイプを開発した.評価実験として,日本語経験を持つ8名の中国人に酒屋在庫管理システムの仕様を理解してもらう実験を行った.実験の結果,特に日本諸経験の浅い開発者に対して,提案システムによる文書理解支援の効果が高かったことがわかった. |
| 抄録(英) | The offshore development, where a company commissions a whole or a part of software development to foreign companies, is now a global trend of software development. Due to the multilingual and intercultural nature, a variety of communication problems arises in the offshore development. This paper especially focuses on two problems: (a) difficulty for the offshore side to understand document in a different language, (b) difficulty for the onshore side to grasp the understanding of the partners. To cope with these problems, we design and develop a communication support system with two key features, the machine translation with the Language Grid web services and the feedback of understanding information. We have conducted an experimental evaluation, where 8 Chinese developers with Japanese competency read and understand a requirement specification of a liquor inventory management system. As a result, it was shown that the proposed system was useful especially for those with low Japanese competency to understand the specification. |
