| 抄録(和) | Web情報分析やeサイエンスなど,大規模データを扱う情報サービスへのニーズが高まっている.データの量や多様性が増すほど有益な応用では、既存の大規模アーカイブへのオンデマンドなアクセスが重要である.こうしたデータ集約的(データインテンシブ)なサービスの基本概念を提案し,(1)データの分割・集約,(2)データの前処理,(3)更新通知,(4)非同期転送に焦点を当てたサービス設計について説明するとともに,20億ページ規模のWebアーカイブを対象とした実装について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | Recently the demand for large-scale information service has been increasing in many fields including Web information analysis and e-Science. In the field where the more data produces the better results, on-demand access to existing large-scale archive is required. Therefore we propose the concept of data-intensive services as a solution. Data intensive services are designed to be capable of a) splitting/aggregation, b) preprocessing, c) update notification, d) asynchronous data transfer. We also introduce our prototype for a Web archive which contains 2 billion Web pages. |
