| Abstract(in English) | Recently the demand for large-scale information service has been increasing in many fields including Web information analysis and e-Science. In the field where the more data produces the better results, on-demand access to existing large-scale archive is required. Therefore we propose the concept of data-intensive services as a solution. Data intensive services are designed to be capable of a) splitting/aggregation, b) preprocessing, c) update notification, d) asynchronous data transfer. We also introduce our prototype for a Web archive which contains 2 billion Web pages. |
