| 抄録(和) | 本論文では,バイラテラルフィルタとトーンマッピングを適用したHDR画像符号化手法を提案する.本手法では,HDR画像にバイラテラルフィルタをかけ,トーンマッピングを行うことで局所的なエッジを保持するLDR画像を得る.符号化の1層目をLDR画像とし,LDR画像に逆トーンマッピングを適用することでHDR画像を復元する.このHDR画像と原画像の残差画像を2層目として符号化する.バイラテラルフィルタをかけた逆トーンマッピングHDR画像を適用し2層に分ける符号化手法について検討した.残差画像に対して圧縮処理を行い,圧縮効率について従来の2層符号化と比較する.結果として,従来の手法に比べダイナミックレンジが広い画像においては,SNRを10dB増加することができた. |
| 抄録(英) | A two-layer coding of HDR images is presented. The tone mapping is implemented by a sequence of bilateral filtering and global tone mapping. The smoothed output of the bilateral filter forms the basic component, and another detail component is formed by the difference between the HDR input and the smoothed output. A global tone mapping is applied to the smoothed output to obtain the basic component of the corresponding LDR. It is added to the detail component to give the LDR image, which is the primary layer in the proposed coding. The supplemental layer is defined by a difference between the HDR input and the HDR output of the inverse tone mapping of the LDR primary layer. The experimental results show that SNR increases by 10dB in HDR images. |
