Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) which create unclonable unique ID from the variation on the device manufacturing have been proposed to realize the tamper-resistant LSI used in the secure systems. We have proposed a RG-DTM PUF which generates a response by measuring the delay time difference between equivalent paths through the selector chains. Compared with the conventional arbitor PUF, the RG-DTM PUF shows the high uniqueness, however, the response variation depending upon the voltage is large. In this paper, we propose the novel arbiter circuit which adopts the Time-to-Digital Converter (TDC) circuit which can compensate the voltage fluctuation. It was confirmed by the circuit simulation that voltage dependence on the response can be successfully compensated.
