Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On general content delivery networks, replica allocation is effective in reducing propagation delay when users get contents. On the other hand, the storage capacity limitations do not allow servers to store all contents. Then, a conventional method that considers popularities of contents has been proposed. However, the method performance is insufficient because of not considering file sizes. In this paper, we propose a novel content replication algorithm that considers the popularities per file size to reduce propagation delay. And, we show this method provides better performance than the conventional method in any simulation condition.
