Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, Japanese teachers in Tokyo taught basic Japanese to learners in Taipei and India through blended learning by utilizing a web conference system and moodle. Although the technical limitations of a web conference system negatively affect learning, this study suggests that such limitations might facilitate autonomous learning among the participants because they create a unique sense of distance in virtual space.
