| Abstract(in English) | Secure authentication schemes are being widely investigated in order to avoid many risks on the internet. It is necessary for security that authentication schemes consist of one-time password schemes, biometrics, or IC cards. However, most internet services adopt static password authentications because the running costs are inexpensive, though they are known to have several problems. One of major problems is that a user uses the same password which has been registered at other internet services. To solve this problem, many types of password managers have been proposed. We focus on password managers which generate a distinct password for each internet service using a master password. In this paper, we first review the previous works and propose a novel password manager. The proposed manager supply users with an effective way to remember the master password even if they forget the master password. |
