Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a novel and reliable DC switch, and socket, in which the arc does not occur when they are turned-on / off and inserted / removed. The novel prototype DC switch has been made, which is composed of two mechanical relay and a single MOSFET. It has been tested for the proposed DC switch and socket to protect not only the arc but also thermal problem. As a result it is confirmed that the arc and thermal problem do not occur when the MOSFET and relay switches are turned on or off and ON in steady state, and that they have the excellent performance characteristics.
