| 抄録(和) | 書棚に大量に収納された図書から,目的の図書を短時間で発見するための効率的な手法が求められている.本研究では,画像特徴点マッチングにより目的の図書の配置場所を特定し,携帯端末を保持する利用者にその位置と移動経路を提示する拡張現実を用いた手法を考える.携帯端末でリアルタイム画像認識処理を実現するために各書棚に対向して配置された監視クライアントと協調的に連携させる.プロトタイプシステムの実装と動作実験を行い,その有用性と課題点を議論する. |
| 抄録(英) | We often need an efficient way to find out an object book quickly from a number of books on large shelves in a library. In this paper, we propose a user-friendly library search system by using augmented reality. In our system, each book on the shelf is identified by the feature points of its back cover image. The actual position of the object book on the shelf is easily visualized through a display of the user's tablet terminal when the user trains the tablet's camera on the shelf in full view. To achieve real-time image recognition on the tablet devices, we arrange book monitoring clients in front of each shelf. The monitors watch the all images of the shelves including the book's back covers inside. The monitors are connected to the library database, which the user's terminal access via wireless network. We show the implementation of our prototype system, and discuss effectiveness and problems of our approach through the evaluation experiments. |
