Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Locusts and crickets with their powerful hind legs can realize rapid and walking motion. We have been working on a joint mechanism capable of rapid and walking motion and proposed a model and analysis for a high-power joint mechanism that produces power over actuators installed. Our proposed joint produced angular velocity 9.23[rad/s] as the result of experiment.
