Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Unavoidable non-ideal switching action, such as the time delay (switching delay) or high frequency ripple (spike noise) affects in the DC/DC converter, which is operated in the high-frequency switching period. In this paper, we study the stability of the fixed point in the current mode controlled DC/DC buck converter with switching delay. First, we explain the circuit dynamics. Next, we define the Poincare map by using the exact solution. Finally, we calculate the stability of the fixed point. In particular, we compare the stability in the ideal switching case, and show that the switching delay affects the period doubling bifurcation.
