Abstract(in English) We have developed CG Application-Domain Specific Heterogeneous Multi-Core architecture and its software for a Desk-Top Real-Time Ray Tracing system with HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution based on Free form Curved Surface expression and 35 bands reflective spectrum color model. The required computing performance corresponds to 800 TFLOPS, and the power consumption constraints to 1kW. We can have a hierarchical heterogeneous Multi-Core architecture based on TOPSTREAM with 73 processors, three-levels of on-chip memory hierarchy, and inter-processor communication with register banks. The software programming model following Kahn Process Network(KPN) enables easy migration from legacy sequential processing to a distributed parallel processing.
