Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to extract factors correlated with pancreatic cancer and to develop a method of discriminant analysis between pancreatic cancer patients and another using blood exam data. Data mining was applied to general blood test items, such as Alb and HbAlc. First, the collected data was devided into the pancreatic cancer group and the non-pancreatic cancer group. Next, the rules for classifying two groups were extracted using the "Mahalanobis distance" and a "Decision tree". After dividing into study data and test data, the accuracy was calculated. As for the discrimination result, TP rates are 66% and 70%, FN rates are 98.1% and 99.4%. There were enough as screening inspection from the doctor's opinion. Moreover, it was shown that the difference of Alb, HbAlc, and RBC are common influence factors.
