Abstract(in English) The aim of this study is to investigate the laterality of pulse wave transit time (PTT) range of normal subjects induced by stress task. Subjects were 15 healthy students (22.7±0.94 yr., all right-handed). We measured ECG, right and left PWTTs during experiment. Right PWTT was longer than the left because of the anatomic location of a heart. The margin became narrower during stress task. We compared a change ratio (CR) of right and left PWTTs between rest and task. In 9 subjects, right CRs was larger than the left while in 6 subjects left CRs were larger than the right. The laterality of CR was within 11%. Future tasks include the assessment of reproducibility, another stress tasks and the measurement in vertiginous patients.
