Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Array antenna calibration is very important in high-resolution direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation as the array system performance is usually very sensitive to the phase and magnitude errors. A practical approach of array calibration currently available exploits the concepts of effective aperture distribution function. However, a discrete periodic function with period 2π in direction-of-arrival is requested. This paper proposes a least square problem based method of calibration considering the array antenna responses within limited angular range. The accuracy of the proposed method is verified by using the simulated data. The results show that the proposed method gives an efficient way to accurately calibrate antenna array response from the limited data.
