Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A waveguide whose side walls are formed with densely arranged metallic posts has been proposed. It is called SIW (Substrate Integrated Waveguide) or post-wall waveguide. Especially application for the millimeter-wave band is expected, and it is used for the antenna feeder, etc. For the analysis method of the SIW, the analysis technique of the H-plane waveguide discontinuities based on the planar circuit approach has been proposed. In this work, the analysis of the SIW discontinuities such as inductive windows, step discontinuities, and dielectric discontinuities is performed based on the planer circuit approach, and the comparison with the reflection characteristics of the rectangular waveguides which have the same equivalent characteristics with the SIWs.
