Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) High-frequency switches can be used in wireless communication equipments where low insertion loss and high isolation are required. In fabricating high frequency switches with PIN diodes, an effect due to the PIN diode reverse-biased capacitance needs to be considered in order to obtain a good performance. In this study, a two-stage series SPDT high frequency switch considering the capacitance compensation is presented by introducing a transmission-line parallel to a PIN diode. In a measurement, an insertion loss less than 0.5dB, isolation more than 45dB and a good agreement with simulation at 2.5GHz were obtained.
