Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An NRD-guide pulse radar front-end was fabricated as distance and velocity detection sensor at millimeter wave lengths, and the range finding and velocity detection were successfully performed. We predicted that there was the measurement error due to the fluctuation of the reflected pulse width which was caused by the saturation of IF and base-band amplifiers and the condition of targets. In this paper, an A-D converter was applied in the radar system to reduce the measurement error. And we contrived a manner that the sequential sampling technique was easily implemented in the radar system by using the A-D converter.
