Improvement on Bias Circuit of NRD Guide Gunn Oscillator

Abstract(in English) The self-injection locked NRD guide Gunn oscillator is one of the low phase noise oscillators in millimeter wave frequencies and that of the reflection type and the band stop type were optimized from the view point of their Q-factors. As the result, it was obvious that the bias line affected the oscillation condition due to the coupling of the transmitted electromagnetic wave in the NRD guide with the bias line. Therefore we designed the new structure using the micro strip line as the bias line and checked the operation of that oscillator by calculation and measurement in this paper.
