Individual Learning Support on Structuring Process of Knowledge Cognition : Case Study on Information Science, Physics, and Mathematics

Abstract(in English) Recent e-Learning technology has powerful ability to support simultaneously various types of many individual learners on their learning conditions. The author applied the powerful ability of e-Learning to design self-learning support model by arranging both of individual learner's condition and various types of teaching materials with multiple pedagogical strategies. As a case study of the self-learning model, the author implemented e-Learning module "Space Travel Simulation" on the multiple field of physics, mathematics, and computer science. The e-Learning module has complicate and high level contents with multimedia teaching materials, so that learners of the e-learning need systematic support to learn knowledge cognition. In order to improve the difficulty of "Space travel simulation" for self-learning, the author has designed a learning support module for systematic understanding process of complicate concepts. In this paper, the author discusses e-Learning support to build up the structural cognitions.
