Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report investigates an application of extensible learner-adaptive system, Extensible Learning Environment with Courseware Object Architecture (ELECOA) for Collaborative Learning Environment. The design goal of ELECOA is to provide a flexible learning environment that ensures both function extensibility and content reusability. The concept of a "courseware object", which is a program module that is used to incrementally implement various educational functionalities, has been introduced to achieve this goal. Based on this concept, a self-learning environment has been implemented which is fully compliant to SCORM 2004 specification. This report provides an investigation results to implement a collaborative learning environment based on Learning Design specification within the ELECOA framework.
