Abstract(in English) Recently, the frequency range of unwanted electromagnetic waves extends to the microwave band in that their measurement methods are discussed frequently. Small size dielectric objects, whose influence are negligible for the lower frequency band of VHF or UHF, may cause error for the measurement results in the higher frequency above 1GHz. To show the evidences, the electric fields around a circular cylinder of dielectric materials excited by a line current source along the cylinder, were estimated through numerical calculations.
