Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this research is to develop a new human torso phantom that provides more reliable estimations for active implantable medical devices (AIMDs) EMI due to UHF Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) interrogators. The phantom has an electromagnetic-field absorbing plate attached to the back of the AIMD in order to suppress standing waves inside the phantom. In this paper, induced voltage at connector of an implantable cardiac pacemaker due to radio waves emitted from the RFID interrogators operating at 950 MHz and 2.45 GHz is estimated by using FDTD method. In addition, the induced voltage is estimated in the case of varying implantable cardiac pacemaker location in order to investigate effect of the standing waves.
