Accelerating C-Based Complex Event Processing on FPGAs

Abstract(in English) This talk presents a new design method for implementing complex event processing, which extracts meaningful information from high volumes of real-time events, on FPGAs. Unlike conventional SQL-based approaches, our approach features C-based event language that supports a wide variety of applications. In a financial trading application as a proof-of-concept example, we have achieved 20Gbps event processing performance.
