Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Effect of laser illumination on electron emission from nc-Si MOS cathodes using heavy doped p-type Si substrates has been studied using a He-Ne laser at wavelength of 633 nm. The emission current was remarkably increased by illumination and a modulated electron beam was generated directly from the cathode under irradiation of pulsed laser light.
