Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a reflection-type holographic memory with a speckle shift-multiplexing, we investigate the recording characteristics of multiresolution coding, which represents different data pages observed by different resolution, for increasing the storage capacity. Numerical results indicate that 3:16 block coding shows superior characteristics in signal-to-noise ratio and bit error rate to 2:4 coding when a data page with 2 levels resolution is used.
