Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Polarization-sensitive media based on photo-driven molecular reorientation and axis selective photore-action are introduced. The principle of retardagraphy with the polarization-sensitive media is explained as a special case of polarization holography. In experiment, multilevel recording of retardation pattern generated by parallel-aligned liquid crystal spatial light modulator and multiplex recording of binary retardation pattern are demonstrated.
