Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, there have been many studies on the measurement of myocardial strain or strain rate and the three dimensional (3D) imaging of the heart using ultrasound. In this study, we evaluated the accuracy of the synchronization by electrocardiogram used for reconstruction of 3D ultrasonic data. Furthermore, the time change of the three dimensional distribution of the axial strain rate in the elastic spherical shell could be measured to visualize the change in contraction/relaxation occurring three-dimensionally. As a result, we showed possibility to visualize the transition of contraction by 3D strain rate imaging.
