Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a slot-ring SPDT switch circuit using the Both-Sided MIC Technology is proposed. The proposed switch circuit consists of microstrip lines for input and output ports and stubs on the surface, and a two wavelength ring-slot line on the back side in a single layer substrate. Switching diodes are mounted on the slot line. The bias voltage can be easily applied to the inner conductor of slot-ring. It is possible to switch the output ports by the polarity of the bias voltage. Therefore, the bias circuit is a very simple structure. Moreover, it is possible to integrate the switch circuit with planar antennas due to realize it in the single layer. In this study, the basic behavior of the circuit is confirmed by the electromagnetic simulator (Agilent EMPro), and the experimental characteristics are also investigated in comparison with the simulation.
