Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The directivity of a car antenna is changed by the car shape, the ground, frequency, antenna type and position. Therefore, it is indispensable to know the directivity of an antenna mounted on the car. In the directivity measurement, it is very important to grasp the boundary between near and far fields, and the error of directivity at a finite distance because the directivity is defined at the far field region. By the way, the car antenna in UHF band is recently necessary for the transition to terrestrial digital broadcasting. In this paper, the distance dependence of directivity has been analyzed to clarify the boundary between near and far fields for car antennas in UHF band. The FDTD method is used as the analysis method.
