Robustness of Image Quality Factors for Different Environment Illuminations using an Estimation Equation of Subjective Image Quality

Abstract(in English) Recently, the image quality in display devices have been widely used under various environment illuminations. However, appearance of display devices is difference in various environment illuminations. Therefore, this study analyzes the robustness of image quality factors for different environment illuminations by the parameter design without subjective evaluation experiments using the already proposed estimation equation of subjective image quality for each environment illumination. Image quality factors are gamma, maximum luminance and minimum luminance, and environment illuminations are D65 illumination, darkroom and indirect sunlight.
