Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new method of estimating global motion that arises with video-camera movement. The global motion is given by an affine transformation matrix on which the maximum number of feature points move from a frame to the next one. First, all sets of 4 adjacent feature points that move obeying to some affine transformation on a delaunay diagram are selected by means of affine invariant. Next, selected sets are classified into subsets obeying different affine transformation matrix by the use of geometrical procession on the delaunay diagram. The global motion corresponds to affine transformation matrix of the subset with the maximum number of elements. It was shown from our experimental results that the global motion could be estimated in almost same processing time as fast RANSAC algorithm regardless of proportion of local motion.
