Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There has been lots of interest in applying a relaying function to conventional cellular networks, in which all mobile stations are directly connected to base stations, because of its various advantages, i.e., cell-range expansion and mitigation of shadowing effects. In this paper, the spectral efficiency of multi-hop cellular networks and scheduling to achieve the maximum throughput are discussed.
