| Abstract(in English) | This paper introduces cognitive radio networks which are one of applications of wireless distributed networks and expected to use for future wireless communication systems. We also show cognitive wireless distributed networks as an example of cognitive radio networks and discuss suitability of technologies of wireless distributed networks applied to cognitive radio networks. Cognitive radio recognizes surrounding wireless environment and flexible wireless system is established according to the results of recognition. It is expected to improve the spectrum usage by sharing the spectrum with primary system. Since cognitive radio can improve the efficiency of spectrum usage by managing the spectrum resource in a distributed way according to the recognition of surrounding wireless environment, the technologies of wireless distributed networks are effective. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce elemental technologies of spectrum sharing and spectrum recognition technologies. Then we show the contribution of techniques of wireless distributed networks toward cognitive radio networks. |
