Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel scheme to estimate the imbalance of the RF devices included in RF analog Hilbert transformer in heterodyne multimode receivers with baseband AGC, which enables the receiver to receive signals in arbitrary frequency band with realistic hardware complexity. The performance of the estimation scheme is verified by computer simulation in terms of the root mean square (RMS) of the estimation error, and the distribution of the error. Furthermore, it is also shown that the performance of the proposed scheme is enhanced by feeding the estimated value back to the RF analog devices. The performance is compared with that of conventional techniques.
