Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to study the application of event-related potential (ERP) for performing evaluation of food, the task was studied when subjectively judging the appearance of food that subjects liked. First, it was confirmed that P300 of the opinion "more favorite" became bigger, even if the same opinion test was done after 1 week and 1 month. Next, as a study on the task for detecting bigger P300, the effect of the combination of the number of food pictures and the corresponding to each opinion were discussed. In results, the order of the P300 area and the evaluation was the same, when the number of the picture correspnding to the opinions "more favorite" and "favorite" were one, respectively. Then, a task in the case where foods that subjects did not like were included was proposed and used for an ERP measurement for 2 subjects. And the range of the latency for calculation of P300 area was also discussed. The results indicate the potential of the proposed task for food evaluation by the ERP.
