| 抄録(和) | 近年,フラッシュメモリの大容量化に伴いハードディスクドライブ(HDD)の代替として,複数のフラッシュメモリにより構成されるソリッドステートドライブ(SSD)が注目されている.SSDはHDDに比べ消費電力,耐衝撃性等の面で優れるためモバイル機器への適用に適している.しかし,NAND型フラッシュメモリはその特性により,消去動作の回数限界を持ち,消去が特定の部分に集中するとセルが劣化しデータの保持が不可能となる.そのため,フラッシュメモリ内では消去回数の平滑化を行うウェアレベリング技術や,空き容量を確保するためのガベージコレクションのアルゴリズムが提案されているが,個々に提案されているため,消去回数を削減するといった観点では効率的とはいえない.そこで本研究ではウェアレベリングと同時にデータの整理を行うことで効率的に消去回数を削減する手法を提案する.提案手法ではデータを書き換え頻度により場合分けし,データのすみ分けを行うことでフラッシュメモリの消去回数を削減している. |
| 抄録(英) | Recently, storage capacity of flash memories is rapidly increasing, so the solid-state drive (SSD) constituted by the flash memory attracts attention as substitution of a hard disk drive (HDD). SSD has many advantages such as power consumption and shock-resistance, compared with HDD, it is suitable for mobile system. However, NAND flash memories have limit of erase operations due to their characteristics. So, if many writes concentrate into the same part, the memory cells are broken and become unable to store the data. Therefor the wear-levering techniques which smooth the number of erasures, and the optimized algorithm of the garbage collection are proposed, since it is proposed separately, in the viewpoint of reducing the number of erasures, it ineffective method. Thus, this paper proposes the method of reducing the number of erasures efficiently by organizing data simultaneously with wear leveling. In the proposed method reduced the number of erasures due to the data categorize as frequency of rewrite operations. |
