Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, a method of estimating location of people moving indoor is experimentally designed. The method works in such a situation that people have mobile terminals that can communicate with each other. The communication history among them is collected and analyzed to estimate the relative location of mobile terminals on a given map. Compared to the known existing methods such as WLAN-based systems and RF-ID tag-based systems, the method takes advantage of localization without prior knowledge about infrastructure. The map information is fully employed for the localization in the proposed method.
