Abstract(in English) | Lately the necessity of Smart Grid, Smart House, Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicle is discussed frequently. These systems and applications, especially a Battery EV and a Hybrid EV, have come into wide use recently. Since the renewable energy by a solar panel and a wind power generator is unstable, the argument says the electrical energy storage system should be used with the renewable energy connected with a power line in order to keep the power line stability. This storage system consists of a secondary battery, such as a lithium-ion battery, and a bidirectional converter controlling charge and discharge of electricity to the secondary battery. This paper shows new technical matters for a bidirectional converter and these developments in the future, such as a software control method. |
