Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The network GNSS is a method to position on-line a rover moving in the area enclosed with more than five or more reference stations allocated with 40-50 km interval. As reference stations electric reference points; national reference points managed by GSI (Geographic Surveying Institute of JAPAN) are usually used. This report demonstrates that the practical positioning of a rover at any time and at any places with private reference stations installed temporarily and with data transmitted by the Internet. And it further refers to usefulness of GLONASS data to shorten TTFA (time to fix ambiguity) significantly and to extend available time of positioning. As a network GNSS, only FKP is employed in the experiment. Its counterpart VRS is far more widely used in Japan. Their equivalency in positioning performance was beforehand demonstrated.
